Katie and I went up to Red Feather Lakes to go snowshoeing at Mount Margaret. We picked an easy trail since both of us are out of shape and since this was Katie's first time snowshoeing. the trail itself is over 7 miles long, but we only hiked a portion of the trail, turning around after 2 miles making it a roundtrip hike of just under 4 miles. It took us almost 2 hours even though it was a measly 500 feet in elevation gain.

I got to Nashville pretty early on Sunday morning to make it to a meeting I had at noon, but after that, the afternoon was all mine to do whatever I wanted to do with. Me and a few of my colleagues from other locations in the US walked around Nashville a little bit. We stumbled on the downtown area, the river, and up to the state capitol.

Tuesday night was the conference's special event, which was a block party where they took over two enormous bars. Both bars had rooftop patios that were jam packed. The weather wasn't all that great, which made the inside areas pretty packed. It wasn't all that easy going through the crowds to make it to the rooftops, but once I did, I got some great nighttime photos of downtown Nashville.
