Denver Botanical & Zoo

Today was a free day at the Denver Botanical Gardens. The past several days were rainy and cold, so we were lucky to have such nice weather on the day that was free. Since it's early April, we weren't expecting much, but there were quite a bit of flowers and plants growing. the inside areas were the best, since they aren't weather dependent, but it was still a nice walk through the gardens.

Mallory Cave Hike

Katherine and I went into Boulder for a hike up at NCAR. We picked out the Mallory Caves hike. The caves were closed for the season, but it was still a great hike. The last 100 vertical feet were almost straight up (seriously, I'm surprised the city of Boulder doesn't close that part of the trail). It was a nice afternoon hike!
