My Station

This is the welder I primarily used. It is a Miller Shopmate 300DX welder - which generally cost around $3000 new. The first 3 days we were using these machines. MIG is the easiest to learn so that's why we started there. It's easiest to learn because the metal filler rod is automatically fed through the torch, as opposed to having a filler rod in one hand and a torch in the other solely for heating the metal.
One of the first things I did after laying a few test beads was write my name. These machines are incredibly easy to use and set up.
