Defeat

This is the place where I had to stop and rest, from an extremely tiring bike ride up to Horsetooth Reservoir. I had just made it up the most steep part, almost at the top. There was about a quarter-mile of the road you see in the photo, and I needed to stop. It was the closest I've ever come to throwing up and passing out on a bike ride before. It was so steep that I was able to hit 38.9 mph for about 30 seconds as I went down the mountain
While I rested, I figured I might as well take a few photos. Maybe when I'm more in shape, I can bike up here, then hike this awesome-looking trail.
