Blosson of Lights
For our family event for the year we all went to the Blossom of Lights at the Denver Botanical Gardens. I've actually wanted to go to this for the past few years and I made it a goal to go this year. So when my parents invited us, that was an easy goal accomplished. I think the next time I go, I want to make sure I spend a little more time in some of the most photogenic spots in the gardens, even if that would mean getting left behind for a few minutes as everyone wanders along.

I tried to capture a lot of photos of the lights under the snow. The just didn't work out exactly how I wanted them to.

The Botanical Gardens did a good job of coverage.This entire tree, as well as other's, were completely covered.

This was my favorite part of the garden. These balls provided the perfect amount of light that wasn't too little or too much to photograph.

This is my favorite light photo of the night. Shooting the other balls through the wire mesh of another ball.

This is my favorite photo of the evening. I captured Katie looking at one of her photos (probably of me). I was lucky enough to have my heart bokeh filter on when I captured this photo, and unfortunate to get my dad in the background.
