Engagement
This jewelry armoire was my graduation gift to Katherine. I bought it several weeks in advance and slowly filled it up with jewelry that I knew she would like. I knew that once she graduated, she would start wearing real jewelry to work. Her current jewelry box was small and could use an upgrade. The box was waiting for her upon her arrival from the long road trip from Colorado to Iowa for her to move in with me.

Big Bow on Top
I spent a lot of time picking out all the jewelry as well as the bow and ribbons on the outside. I couldn't find any bows this big in Dubuque, so I grabbed one while I was on a business trip for work. That worked out in my favor pretty well!

Inside the Box
On the top of the box there was a note telling her that this is her present and to start at the top and work her way down. This was the top. Not a whole lot in thsi compartment.

The first Drawer
I filled the first drawer with earrings. These were by far the easiest to shop for, just because there are so many. I put notes on each little compartment. I made the white boxes that the earrings are stuck in by putting fabric over styrofoam.

Fromt Top to Bottom
The second drawer was filled with bracelets and miscellaneous items (2 pins and some more earrings)

Full of Watches

The last Drawer
In the last drawer I put a coupon that Katherine had given to me for helping her with one of her school projects when we started dating. I was right behind her the entire time slowly getting the ring box out from underneath the bed. Once she read it, she turned around and I proposed.
