Galena On a Friday Evening

Katherine and I went down to Galena, Illinois to go downtown on a Friday evening, thinking it would be a busy place - except that it was not. Galena is a shopping and tourist town, and has several blocks of really cool unique and weird stores, but all of them were closed. Disappointed, we decided to go across the bridge into Grant Park.

I think this is a cool bridge, it's a really nice rust color and has nice architecture.

Setting Sun on Galena

As the sun went down, there was a really nice silhouette of the church on the hill. Galena has a hill on the West side of the town, and it gives the illusion of the mountains that we miss in Colorado.
