Part of the album: Garden Route Day 3 and Sanbona Day 1
Our guide parked the car and told us we were going on a hike. We walked about a quarter mile up a hill until we came around a bush and we all noticed the cheetah about 10 feet in front of us! I was definentely not expecting that! OUr guide told us that the cheetahs were really comfortable around humans because the owner of the reserve did their master study on this cheetah. Over time, the cheetah got comfortable enough for the guides to take their passengers on a hike to the cheetah. That a little too close for comfort!
