My parents flew into Chicago for the 4th of July weekend. The 4 of us (Katherine, my parents, and myself) went around the city for two days doing various tourist activities. This image is taken at the bean - also known as the cloud gate - in Millennium Park. The center of the bean goes inward, which gives a really cool reflection of the surrounding area.

1004 Portraits
This is part of the 1004 Portraits in Millennium Park. They have been in Chicago for a little over a year, and will remain there until December 2015. There are (at least) 4 other sculptures like this one in Millennium Park. They are vary narrow when looking straight on, but look normal when you look from the side.
