I was in East Peoria all last week and the week before for work installing a robot system into one of our customers in East Peoria. My hotel was right on the East Port Marina in East Peoria, Illinois. The lake behind me is the Peoria Lake, and is right on the Mississippi River.
There was a little walking path near the East Port Marina that I walked along. You could see 2 bridges, this one and the bridge that take Interstate 74 across the Mississippi. I didn't take any photos of that one on this walk though, because it was to the West, and since it was after work, I couldn't get a good shot of it because of the sun.
At the Yacht club, they had some old boats as potters. Kind of a cool idea to reuse old boats This one is in no condition to sail ever again.
This is interstate 74. I took this photo from a balcony of a restaurant (that I didn't eat at, but I don't think it was open yet). I wondered over that direction to go to the Caterpillar gift shop to get Katherine some Christmas gifts for her grandpa, who used to work at a different Caterpillar plant.
