Art in Public Places
This is the piano that lives on the plaza at CSU during non-winter months. It is part of the "Art in Public Places" from the city of Fort Collins. Basically, the city asks local artist to paint things before they are graffitied. I don't know how the pianos got involved, since this is more for things like electrical power boxes, but I'm just glad I have a piano to play on.
This piano is actually surprisingly in tune (for the most part), and has good keys (excluding a few). The only major problem I have with it is that the sustain petal doesn't work very well.
None the less, this is a great piano considering it sits in all kinds of weather, and I love to play it.
These pianos (painted by different artists of course) are set up in old town as well.
